You are invited to join us for this year's Camp Budo to be held at
Northeastern Martial Arts Dojo in Chili (Rochester), NY. The event will be
held on Friday evening and Saturday, September 14 and 15th.

This years programs will be taught by three top-notch instructors:
John Saylor (Jujitsu)
Stan Hart (Karate / Kempo)
Tim Hartman (Arnis)
INSTRUCTOR BIOGRAPHIES

Mr. Stan Hart is a master instructor and practitioner of the self-defense art known as Shurite Kempo, one of the most effective fighting systems from Okinawa. Also known as Hakuda, this Okinawan style Kempo, incorporates joint locks and controls along with awesome striking techniques and nerve strikes. Mr. Hart has been studying martial arts for over 35 years and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his highly informative workshops. Mr. Hart is chief instructor of the Shurite Kempo Technique Association.

Mr. Timothy Hartman is a Datu in Modern Arnis and holds a Sixth Dan Black Belt as a direct student of Grand Master Remy Presas, the founder of Modern Arnis. He is the President and Technical Director of the World Modern Arnis Alliance (WMAA) as well as a Certified Basic and Advanced Instructor. Other influences on Mr. Hartman's training include Bando (w/ Grand Master Muang Gyi), Small Circle Jujitsu (w/ Grand Master Wally Jay), Kenpo (Paul Dye, 7th Dan & Huk Planas, 9th Dan), Jeet Kune Do and Muay Thai Boxing (Macaluso).

Mr. John Saylor is the founder and Executive Director of the Shingitai Jujitsu Association, which is devoted to teaching effective realistic self defense skills to martial artists throughout the US and Canada. A highly sought after instructor, Mr. Saylor was the Head Coach for the US National Judo Training Squad from 1983 until 1990 at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs and is a three time US National Judo Champion, two time Pan American medalist and 1978 1st Team All American. Mr. Saylor was also awarded Coach of the Year in 1987 by the United States Judo Association (USJA). Besides an extensive background in Judo and Jujitsu, his background includes training in Karate, Tae Kwon Do, Muay Thai Kickboxing, Sambo and Olympic style wrestling. He holds Black Belt credentials in Judo, Jujitsu and Karate.


Also, some of you have an interest in one area only and may want to attend
only one session (ie. for those guys only interested in adding to their knife
skills, you may only want to attend Saturday afternoon's session).

This years Camp Budo promises to be an exciting time of training in effective self defense techniques with very gifted and capable instructors. Martial artists from all disciplines will benefit from the material that will be presented in these workshops. Make plans to join us. Attendance is definitely limited so that classes will be small, friendly and personal. Attire is casual and we recommend your usual workout attire. No special equipment is needed for Filipino Knife and Stick training, as that will be provided. We look forward to seeing you at NEMA Dojo for a great weekend of training.

TUITION: $65 / person if pre-register by September 12th ($75 after 9/12)
$30 / person for one session only ($35 after 9/12)
