Bullshido Video Analyses

I wonder what kind of neck workouts he's doing to pull this off:

Couldn't see the video in your link.

It's interesting because he's imitating a real skill (at around 3:00):

The way it works is that the demonstrator elicits a push, then subtly rotates his head at the point of contact without opposing the push. As a consequence, the pusher is exerting force at an off angle and does not affect the demonstrator's structure. The force of the push keeps the bodies of the two men connected (like gears) so that when the demonstrator augments the rotation, the pusher's body follows suit as if they were two gears in a machine.

In the video in your link, this mechanism is absent: you can see the demonstrator first turn his head, then the pusher track him on reaction.

Interestingly it is a trap we all can fall in to. From obvious "why is this even happening?" Events like that video.

To self defence drills that relies on stories and partner participation.

To live drilling against trained responses.

To sparring against the the same group of guys.
