Back flat on ground=game over?

Rickson is one of a few martial artists that truly inspired me. I first heard of him in the early 1990s in L.A. I believe he is one of the true greats.
ā€œInvisible Jiu-Jitsuā€ Think i seen the first step in this? will be rolling with someone and they started riding on you like a person on a surf board and there is nothing to grasp on too, no arms,no legs, nothing.

Unfortunately, not all BJJ schools train against strikes anymore.

The fundamental principles of the escapes work the same with and without punches. But there are additional details you have to take into consideration once the punches start flying. It's not a huge difference, but I'd recommend any BJJ student spend at least 10% of their training time with the strikes included if they want to be able to fully apply their skills in a real fight.
my BJJ class does not throw punches, of course my instructor has had me on my back for most of my BJJ time and he threw simulated punches to my head not anything hard just soft. i just covered up my head and protected it and waited to grab his arm but he stopped.

Getting out of the Mount depends on how high up the body the Mount is. If it’s on your chest you have to use elbow leverage against their knees to scoot yourself up so they’re more on your belly or hips.

If the person on top isn’t an experienced grappler you can use an oompah to get him off, or a shrimping technique to get him in half or full guard.

(All of this changes if you’re getting your face punched.)

If he IS an experienced grappler, check with the experienced grapplers on MT.
