Wildlife photography is great, wildlife chew toy not so much. Sadly there are no cheetahs around here, nothing more dangerous than black bears looking in the window.
Do you give them treats?
Not on purpose, but it turns out black bears LOVE bird seed and will do whatever they have to, to get to the feeder.
Reminds me of the instructions I was given as a child on how to tell the difference between a black bear and a grizzly.
"Climb a tree. If it's a black bear, it will climb the tree and eat you. If it's a grizzly, it will knock the tree down and eat you."
