Had a bust night at work so far. I've never seen an empty building be so busy. Fire alarms, foot traffic..remarkable. Otherwise, I'm good.

I know how that goes! We had a lockdown at the office I work at because the police did a major drug bust across the street and were chasing a suspect in our parking lot. Great. We had to stay until a police detective told our HR manager that it was all clear and we could leave the building.

Funny thing is, I took this post to get away from all of these things.

Same security job, except I was a supervisor and had to "baby sit" constantly. Then a one man post opened up, weekends off, food, computer access, empty building on my shift.....sounded good.

it's definitely "cushy". At least nights like this are once in a while. I'm still thankful, inspite of this, and the drama. Almost got jury duty for a first degree murder trial. I was saying at the time, I'd give anything to be at work right now.

Indeed, my relatives there in Cleveland are always going on about the weather...I say to them "Then why in the hell do you live there?"...
They're reply is the fact that my Uncle is a professor at Case Western and he makes good money...
