Actually, I've been told that the Dalai Lama's bodyguard is one bad-*** dude! I would rather have a chat with him and see if he would be willing to give a quick lesson.

I have much respect for Buddhist thinking, and the Lama, but for some reason, all such things just seem like coloured water to me. For some reason I just don't get it.

I suppose that most people would have a great time, though. Hopefully Arnisador's son will have a good seat for the lecture!

Wish I had know you were in Alma while I lived in Scottville (By Ludington), I would have stopped by your Dojo. Would have been nice to keep training while I was away from Maine, even if it would have been a drive! Many years ago this Great Grandmaster whose name escapes me came to Cleveland for a demo and a lecture...The auditorium was packed, about 200 people...When it came time for the lecture everyone split except for about 20 of us..You are the real martial artists he said to those that stayed and he applauded US...
