I could never get up on water skies, I dont know why. I love snow skiing though its awsome. I tried to snowboard once and it didnt work very well, once you get use to using both legs independently its kind of hard to get un-use to it

I use to ski, in my younger days. Once I blew out a knee playing baseball, I was always too hesitant to try skiing again (what a wimp, I know).

Better to be cautous then reckless. Thats why Im hesitant to get back on a pair of skates. Used to be reckless then fell off the back end of a 12 foot vert ramp...no longer reckless now

Mom was a great water skier..She'd start off on 2 then kick one off and do one..

I'm with KG06 on this one. I've done two skiis before, but I was never able to get the one ski thing for some reason. I think maybe it was snow skiing. In snow, you sort of lean forward. On water, it the opposite.

my little cousin can do that. Did she ever go bare foot? My uncle was crazy enough to do it

No, never got around to it...There were plenty of barefooters on the river..It was a rite of passage for those who were raised out there...

Ive been on the Ohio basically all my life and I still cant ski.

I make a good captin though. I can drive anything on the river, most people think "oh wow yea the river is real small" they are sarcastic now, but Ill tell you what, it ain't that easy to spin a 76' house boat on a dime.

You and my Father have a lot in common..He cant ski and is not a real good swimmer, but he can wheel ANYTHING that floats..There was a rumor that only someone who skis can pull skiers..During our weekends out at the river he was one of the most sought after skippers in our little group...

Yea, i love to swim and I love boating. Any kinds houseboats, run-abouts, or even my friends boat powered by 2 454's...yea ****ing rediculous is the right phrase

...how about...fundiculous...that works :p

That word works for me...There was one crazy person that came out to the river with a small boat that only seats 2 people and had a 100hp Merc engine..The word fast doesn't see to do it justice...

Cool... Well I am home and I think I join the kitty cats and take a nap..They won't be happy when I move them in order to make room for me on the bed, they will be a little PO'd..I mean it will take them at least a full minute to fall back to sleep... Later...
