Other than having to work and those fun conference calls, all is well. Had a great weekend as far as Martial Arts. The temp rose a bit, into the upper 80s, but not complaining after hearing what you all are going through.

Pretty good..Worked the township yesterday, the rain and cooler tempetures kept the crazies quiet and that's a good thing...

Ain't that the truth. I'm recovering from a weekend of seminars. They were only 3 hours each day, but I went into information overload. A whole lot of information in such a short amount of time. Met GM Wai Hong, Fu-Jow Pai, watching the man move is incredible. Trying to mimick him, almost impossible. One day working on a form called Tiger Claw, the next on Double-edged sword. Also got the opportunity to meet and chat with GM Demasco, SKK, this past weekend. Not going to have a weekend like this for a long, long time, if ever again.
Is he the one that always seems to grace the pages of BlackBelt Magazine?? Given knowledge by the current Abbot of the Shaolin Temple??

At least with me, he was very 'matter of fact', no BS. I only had maybe 15 minutes with the man at any given time. Most his time was spent with my Sifu, who is a student of his and with GM Wai Hong, who was a Sifu to GM Demasco. I was lucky to get the time I did.

I have heard that as well, he wasn't at this time, seemed open and honest. If that means 'full of oneself', then I too am at fault.
(Not to say he isn't in other situations)

I know it is nearly impossible as humans to be told something, especially if the story in the same from many, but I try to hold judgement until I can make that choice based on personal experience. I know, too, that this type of thought can get one fooled by another, but as long as a person treats me right, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. Are the others making their judgements based on personal experience, or possibly that the person in question was asked to discuss themselves and did, then were thought of to be 'full of themselves' by others?
Wow, seems kind of like a circular reference ... LOL

Surprisingly I was not nervous at all speaking to the man. Was a very free and easy conversation. So, no, did not at all get the idea that I was being talked down to.
Excellent...Ya should have seen me the first time I met Bill "Superfoot" Wallace..I must have bowed 100 times and stumbled over a request for a photo with him...

Man, now there's a name from the past. Haven't thought of him for a while. That must have been an extremely fun meeting. A name from the dog days of full contact fighting ... LOL

Back from school. Wont be that bad (well the teacher is awful) but the material seems ok and my brother is in the class with me. Also this really attractive girl that I had class with last semester is in this class as well so thats another plus.
