Ipswich,MA. I don't miss the traffic back there lol. I really liked visiting Maine, except the bugs. Dang black flies. How is the winter "up county'? What part of MA is your wife from, was she happy to get abit futher away from the rat race?

Wife is from Pepperill, MA. I have a brother who works over in Athol, MA. The wife really doesn't like it this far North, too damn cold in the winter for her, and way too many black flies. This winter has been a great one in the simple fact there is very little snow and much warmer than usual for us.
I was out all over WY on several trips. Had a friend who lived in a little place not far from Sheridan. The town name was Banner, or something like that.

Because we are here to help out my parents a bit, as soon as we get everything set for them, we are probably going to move back out to Michigan. I was born there and the wife and I moved our family out there a couple of years ago. Everybody fell in love with the area we were in and wants to go back. Been here almost a year this time and will stick out another couple to finish up some college classes.

Too cold in the winter? Ah that's why she has you. I get the same from my wife when the temp dips to 10 below lol. We haven't gotten much snow here either, I miss the old'en days of cold going on and on. That's probably why I like Robert Frost's poetry.
That's cool about Banner, it's only about 5 miles away from me. I think the population is still about 30. May I ask what you did to be all over the state?

Part gypsy I think.
Really it wasn't related to work or anything, just happen to find myself out that direction and wandered around for a few checking out the area. Looked at moving to Jackson Hole for a bit, but decided it was a bit too glitzy with all the tourists. I helped a couple old timers load a bull back into a trailer that had excaped at a little gas station once in the Eastern part of the state (couldn't tell you where though.) I just like to travel and used to get around quite a lot.
