Anyone know anything about personal training certification?

Seems like a good way for a kinesiology student/taekwondo player/powerlifter to make some cash...

I recommend NCSA for certification. Get the CSCS (certified strength and conditioning specialist)on top of your personal training cert, you will be more marketable.

My son is in college getting a degree in exercise science....he is getting his personal training certification on the side to earn some estra money
He's doing some sort of online course...pretty in depth, but a lot of stuff he's already covered in school

Thats actually exactly what I planned.

For CSCS says it requires senior status in a school. Will year 2 at my university do it, any idea? They call you a senior here after year one.

Just realized something. In 62 days we will be on Cozumel for two weeks of sun, sand, diving and All-Inclusive resort drinks.
Just thought I'd rub that in.

I honestly don't know, I would e-mail or call them about it.

Thank you. :)

Wait, I need to practice something...

(Feet up, hands behind head)
Why yes Pablo, I'd love another drink.

Did I do it right? Don't want to strain anything...

Ah Cozumel.

Walk down main street and see the pretty senoritas and hear their sweet voices as they call out..

"Free Tequilla!"
"Real Cuban Cigars"
"Real Diamonds!"
"Free Tequilla!"
"Real Cuban Cigars"
"Real Diamonds!"
"Free Tequilla!"
"Real Cuban Cigars"
"Real Diamonds!"

;)

I liked it there though. Real sugar sodas at the "7-11", the rude and obscene tee shirts at every 4th place, the super blue water, the dancers in the plaza. Oh and the people at Senor Frogs were funny to watch. :D

Next time I'm hoping to do some of that diving as the water looked great.

Make sure to hop a ferry across to Playa del Carmen. Same calls for "goods & items", more choices, better restaurants & bars. Plus strip clubs to boot.

My wife'll be with me next time I go, and after her behavior at a club in Canada, I dunno if I want to risk taking her to a Mexican one. LOL

On the mainland, CocoBongo is the place to go.

On Cozumel, it's Wet Wendys. And the bottom of the ocean. :)

Best family reunion we had was at the Moon Palace in '02. Hoping for a repeat in the next year or 2.

Never stay there, but it's got a good reputation. We like Hotel Cozumel. The close enough to town to walk in if you don't feel like eating at the resort, and the AI option is cheap enough that you won't feel like you're throwing away money by eating elsewhere. It's comfortable, has a nice pool and beach area, and it's close to Aldora Divers. The shore diving is fair (there's no really good shore diving on Cozumel), and shallow, so we can putz around in between boat dives. :)
