I have just started learning the Sai, and it is indeed an awsome weapon. I'm also learning the Roku-chaku Bo (I think that's the correct pronounciation) and the Nunchaku, which I'm also partial to using.

Few people bother to distinguish between the rokushaku bo and other types of bo these days, it seems to me--they simply refer to a roughly 6' long stick as a bo and forget about the hanbo and other forms of the bo.

The sai was always one of my favorites! Good luck.
