Ive recently got back into TKD after a 3 year hiatus. My kicks really suck right now and mainly I feel is lack of flexibility. My worse kicks are the hook back turning and even the true roundhouse. By true I mean turning bottom foot and rotation of the hip. With the lack if flexibility there is no power. And it really bothers me. Do any of you have some pointers to help me gain more flexibility and power?? TIA scott

Roundhouse and spinning hook kick need side-to-side (groin) flexibility in particular. I would focus on side stretch and straddle in particular.

Plyometrics will help you achieve flexibility without compromising power, which you will need to keep in Taekwondo. There are a lot of books, articles and videos on Plyometric exercises for kicks on Youtube, so you could start there for research.

Barring that, this book and this other book from Dragon Door may help you. Worked wonders for me.
