Not sure to click Spam and delete is enough.based on the email. Blocked it, reported it as Spam and deleted it
About 2 weeks ago, I received 670 Email in 1 day (I don't trust my old computer and I bought a new computer next day). I had to go through each unknown email as:
- Click ...
- Click Block senders.
- Check box - Block all future email.
- Check box - Delete all existing email.
- Click OK.
Not sure if this will stop those unknown email from coming. I'm still doing this every day. Those unknown email get less and less. That's a good sign.
My AI told me:
When you block an email address in Yahoo Mail, that address is permanently added to your Blocked Senders list.
When you click “Spam”:
- Yahoo moves that email to the Spam folder
- Yahoo’s filter learns that this type of message is unwanted
- Future emails from that sender are more likely to go to Spam automatically
It does NOT permanently block the sender
It does NOT prevent them from emailing you again
It does NOT delete all past emails from that sender
So “Spam” is helpful, but it’s not a true block.
