Another thing is that he is universally described as being a humble, courteous, and genuine person.

Chuck embodied everything a martial artist should be. Disciplined, focus, resilient, adaptive, and above all else, humble. In all the interviews I've watched of him, never once did an arrogant remark come from his mouth. When asked about those he didn't prefer, he demonstrated class and sophistication. Reading his biography numerous times, he came from nothing, faced countless obstacles, but still came out on top.

Chuck, you will be missed and no one will be able to fill the void that you've left behind. Thank you for the example you set, one I strive to be, but know I will never reach it. Your legacy will not fade nor will ever be forgotten.
