I spent yesterday at the 2007 Geneseo Air Show, and it was packed!

Loads of fun, great flying and they even had a wing walker this year. Pretty cool :)

I took oh...1,900 shots. :D

Here's 6 that I think really turned out well.

I'm waiting on my print order to be ready so I can check the quality of these. If they look good, I'll be putting 8x10 prints up for sale. :) (Bout time I start doing this I think, lol)

Anyway, enjoy! :)

Were you IN a plane taking the shot of the B-17G? Kewl. Those were Great planes and very tough. Horror stories I've read about the punishment those planes could take and the crew which rarely came home in one piece per mission.

The rest of the shots were very nice to outstanding. Yeah, you should consider making a living... heh.

Thank you :)

Nope, was on the ground for all shots. I'd love to go up in one though...cost's 500-800 for 30 minutes though. :( Maybe next year :D

Ok, now looking at it again... I can see the plane was banking a turn and the effect gives it an above the plane. Nicely done.

Great pics Bob! You might want to look into taking pictures of nose art! They are pretty cool. Might be able to do something with that too.

Bob, the F4U is my all time favorite airplane. I remember watching the "Blacksheep Squadron" show on TV as a kid and loved watching all those Corsairs in combat.

Mine, too.

I "flew" them for many, many years as one of the (virtual) VF-17 "Jolly Rogers" in the online WW2 air combat sim named, appropriately, "Warbirds."

8X !

(8X = emoticon equivalent of skull and crossbones :))

Something I'm playing with in Photoshop....roughed in. Blending is coarse, balance is off, and all. All planes were shot on Sat. 7 different shots combined.

Thank you. :)

Here are a few more shots. I'm trying some 'magic' on a couple, trying to see what effects I can get from a somewhat artistic slant.
