They’re advertised on all social media platforms particularly ‘TikTao’, claiming to be ‘99% pure’ and able to cure/improve everything. So many people in my gym take them, mainly BPC-157 for tendinopathies and muscle injuries and yet it’s an unregulated market and you can see from this short report, how potentially dangerous it is.

There are some really good things coming out of peptide research. GLPs have helped a lot of people, although I have concerns about what the long term data are showing. Peptide receptor radionuclide therapy (PRRT) has been shown to be safe and effective for gastroentericpancreatic neuroendocrine tumors, but that's a pretty small patient population. It shows promise for treating some other cancers, and studies are ongoing. Like the GLPs, we lack long term data.

These uses are regulated. BPC-157 has shown promise in animal studies, but human data is pretty much nonexistent, and since it's not FDA-approved, purity, sterility, and accuracy of dosing are sketchy. Many of the other claims lack even animal studies.

The risks, as you point out, are significant. But we will never stop the production and distribution of these compounds online.

Without a doubt. I mean, insulin is a peptide and that’s saved countless people.

My medically active friends say it’s miraculous and one of them was interviewed on BBC Radio Four’s Today programme regarding his positive data on alcoholism being ‘cured’ by Semaglutide!

They’re finding it’s regrowing cartilage too. Perhaps no need for future kneepain/replacements! This video is excellent with primary references too.

Long term data is lacking in all new drugs by definition. I think the good they do outweighs the guessed negatives. I’d be happy to have a shorter life if it was free of diabetes and knee pain/surgery! Maybe ten year shorter at most!

That’s the point exactly plus that SKY video shows that 10% of those vials are actually the active peptide with 90% peptide fragment (hopefully innocuous) and who knows what else. Why would anyone inject that cocktail into themselves? They’re sheep who are persuaded by half-witted influencers on ChinTok!

My other half suggested we should let those people who are stupid enough to buy and inject these peptides to remove themselves from the gene pool! She’s a bit right wing though and I’m a bleeding heart liberal and think they need saving from themselves!😉
