Chatroom usernames now allow upto 30 characters.

We just ran into another problem, minor yet wanting to report it.
I did not see "Grant" log in until he posted. I then refreshed and he was there and all was well for me.
Yet Grant wanted to know about the latest changes. Double spacing and font changes. He was/is using I.E. 5.5
Just FYI, neither of us see this as a show stopper

All I did was bump up the allowed characters in the user name.

Okay finally got the thing to work, its cool, just still no one on and its 11 and night here! So its 6 or so there!

A couple of times I have popped my head in about 8pm est, and if I see others have popped in, I'll leave a message with a time I'll be back. Then others will see it and join me then.
Another idea is to see who's online when you are, and pm them that you will be chatting & when. This also has worked.

This probably goes in the infeaseble category but... IE at least makes a clicking noise when a page loads. Because the chatroom is constantly reloading, it constantly makes that clicking noise, which gets very annoying after a while. I don't supose there is some way to deal with that.

Hey I used the chat button, but it loaded all weird-
text was inverted, color button was standard, did I stuble onto a beta mode or something? I had to exit & re-enter.

Mozilla 1.3x and Phoenix .5 both display the chat "backwards."
Like this (note the time stamps):

IE did that to me last night, then I used /order command and reloaded, which then worked properly. I told Elf- who tried it and got invalid command. Now I don't see the command on my help file- which affirms my suspicion I inadvertantly stumbled on a mod command page or something. Jeez- if I only knew the power was mine I'd have banished you all!

Okay I'm dumb and didnt' read the help file. I see that "/order" should switch it around but when I try to type that command I get "This is not a valid command!" errors.

Exit messages seem to be inconsistantly displayed (backwards still)
Note that Tommy girl never exits the room even though she comes back in. At the time I cut and pasted there was no exit message for her 2nd visit but she was no longer there.

I think what it is, is that if you 'exit' it announces it, but if you just close the browser or surf to another page, it doesnt record the 'exit'.

I'm having problems again in the chat room.
Ever other time I try to send a message in the chat I get thrown off and get the login page. I can see that I'm still a part of the chat room, even if I have to log in again.
