i'm considering opening a childrens class at a hall my group trains at and am wondering if anyone can suggest a company thats offers insurance for programs like that in the mass, area

I get my liability insurance through IDEA Fit. This is a group of personal trainers, and other teachers who sell decent insurance.

It will cost you around 290 dollars or so for a year.

Its cheap due to the fact you do not own the space you are teaching at.

Idea fit Insurance

Hope this helps.

I personally use F. Dean and Associates. They are really good, even though "knock on wood" never had to use them. The insurance is like $9 per student per year. You get a $1,000,000 general aggregate and liability. It covers accidents, death, broken limbs, building damage and so on. It also covers your students shall they get into an accident on the way to or from class! Their site is www.Fdean.com

Amp,

I get a 3,000,000.00 policy for the money I quoted.

Its very good.

look into it.

But it still is only 1,000,000 per incident. This is the same as mine. Thank you though. It seems yours is more for personal trainers as well. Where mine is for martial arts. Im sure they both serve a purpose. Knock on wood neither one of use will ever need to use it.
