Display for one black belt

I want find some way to display one black belt with embroidery in both ends being visible? This is the best found on the internet. I thought about trying to use a shadow box.....but I don't know.

Any ideas?

don´t see the need for diplays myself ..unless you´re a very Vain person.
i did once know a guy in the military who collected womens panties on his wall

I did not earn it. I came across it for sale. The seller did not know anything about it. He said was he bought it from an unknown seller (much like me buying it from him). I just thought it was cool. I plan on hanging it as a goal/motivation for me. It will be in my "Man Cave" it my home and it is unlikely to be seen by anyone other than me. I have had the embroidery translated into English and will have it on the display rack. At this point in my life I am unlikely to earn a black belt myself.

why not ? why not try learning a system with no belts like JKD, ving Tsun or some schools of Kali
I myself have one Black Belt in a Japanese system but it´s not important for me. I like training in systems without all the politics & BS about who´s a Black belt 5th Dan or whatever

What if the belt in question once belonged to his beloved grandmaster, is frayed and weak, stain with his sweat and ‘ki’? Besides, you can’t always see the belt on some Karateka because of their ‘overhang’

There are 10 stripes on one end of belt and 9 on other. So is he 19th Dan?

He’s a judan-sho; a probationary 10th Dan. Once he’s successfully completed his ‘100 ferret kumite’ he’ll be inaugurated into the 10th Dan hall of fame.

The metro area I live in is approximately 250,000 people. There are around 10 dojos (locations dedicated to martial arts only) and a few classes offered in schools, churches, etc.

There are Dojos specializing in TKD, BJJ, and Karate.

There are a few styles located in locations not dedicated to martial arts but classes held there, such as senior center, churches and schools. many of them have no presence on the internet and hard to find.

I have found a Tai Chi class offered in the senior center for 1 hour each week which I am going to try.

A bigger problem is my medical challenges and my old age. I am also short, fat and fragile with balance and flexibility issues...

Does the display show the rank progression within the school - Awesome.

Is the display in your bedroom where few people would see it - yet you use it for positive affirmation when you get up then cool.
e.g. I dedicated the time and effort to get that, I can continue to get through the day.

I once tried to help a school owner.
She was going though a training crisis.
She was tecaching one art and studying antoher art.
Yet she always wore the lwoer ranked belt from the other art.
So she told her students that even she did not agree nor like what she was teaching, and she wondered why people were not staying.

She was surprised at how these little displays affected the customers.

I get not displaying certain things in public so as not to be a target.
Yet one's home and or school is not the place to be worried about this type of display for safety or security.

Your point could be made in the slippery slope to the point that only sloth would be acceptable and even then one could say displaying sloth was something.

A cardboard box in the back of the closet works pretty good.
Smaller box for a single belt of course.

If a black belt certificate comes with the belt, as long as it’s professional designed, I’d prefer to display that, professionally framed.

I use a drawer… for my daughter’s belts….. I train CMA and we don’t need no stinking belts
