Hi everyone. :D

I know that eventually i'm going to have to create my own creative pattern, and the idea greatly interests me. Therefore i have a few random questions to ask. And i know that Creative Patterns are required for some gradings.

Q: Have you formed your own creative pattern?
Q: Have you created any new movements to use in your creative pattern?
Q: How many have you created?
Q: Have you named your creative pattern?
Q: Do you have an explanation story for your Creative Pattern?
Q: How have you written down the movements of your Creative Pattern?

Please tell me everything you can.

I have done a free design form of my own, set to music.

I have named it and it has an explanation to it, though I have never been asked to.

We can compete with our Freestyles I think from brown belt on, but up to the first level of Black I frankly did not have the time to keep up with my current form and making up my own.

I did not really create 'new' moves, but combined parts of previous forms, it was a bit difficult at first, because I didn't want everybody to go 'this is blue belt, that was soandso belt' etc...but I have been told that - at least in the beginning - it's very obvious which form the practitioner prefers.

We can also go more extreme and incorporate a set amount of acrobatic elements, but frankly, I am old and earthbound ;) I am sticking with traditional means and my feet on the floor - most of the time.
