Hey Chris,
Regarding the thread 'The difference between a martial artist and a fighter' I didn't have a chance to respond to your post (#70) as the thread was locked. I just want to thank you for explaining your reasoning. I know I can be difficult at times and I appreciate that you don't hold that against me.

Not a problem. My basic mentality is that if I'm not understood, odds are I haven't explained myself well enough, so I always welcome opportunities to clarify... it helps my ability to express my ideas clearly, as well as helping solidify (to myself) my thoughts on particular ideas (in this case, why I post the way I do). By the same token, I like to answer all questions posed to me. So thanks for the opportunity to allow me to clarify myself.

I think that the question 'the differences between martial artists and fighters' is actually a good one, worth exploring but on a more sensible level perhaps than the previous effort of the orginal OP.
