Ric, BB, You're points of view are valued but you are ....:-offtopic

My most important lesson was exercise can be fun.
And, you can hit like and Guy and still be a woman.
And, I can do some pretty amazing things, if I put my mind to it.

Thanks for the attempt Dot, but apparently it didn't work.

So you learned three lessons huh? I am sure there are more - I know you have taught me a couple yourself, lets recap shall we. Lessons Taught by Kenpo Girl ....

1. Don't try to do a jump sidekick ... your wasting your time ... KenpoGirl won't move.

2. Don't wear your helmet with the strap done up tight.... so when she hits you only the helmet spins.... not your head.

3. Don't play "chicken" with her during punching/kicking drills.... it is bad for your overall health.

4. Develop a ducking tic.... it will save your face at least 50% of the time.

5. When the instructor says "play nice Dot", it really means, she is going to kick your ***.

6. Never talk about her on MT before class. Giggle.

You learn well (but slow) young Grasshopper.

Next time don't run your face into my fist quite so often. And just imagine "If" I wasn't playing nice. :EG:

I don't know about dirty - but she does like to use the phrase " I didn't hit her, she walked into it", and laughs hysterically ... I am SURE people hear us in the changeroom!

There have been so many lessons that I have learned throughtout my training, lessons I am still trying to learn, and some I don;t even know about. One of the biggest things I have learned is to not give up. I have also learned that things will work themselves out sooner or later. The lesson I am trying to learn is to not let things bother me, just to brush them off and move on. I am also starting to learn that everything happens for a reason.

The most important lessons:

1. A punch is just a punch. A kick is just a kick.

2. If you wanna punch, punch. If you wanna kick, kick.

3. Excellence in martial art performance lies in modern scientific training, not in "tradition".

4. Can't fight, worth poop.

Sorry couldn't resist, left yourself open for that jab. ;) Hope your chin and neck don't hurt too much this time.

All kidding aside LW can be quite the challenge when sparring.

That reminds me of my favorite lesson.

1) Can't breathe, can't fight
2) Can't walk, can't fight
3) Can't see, can't fight

The most important lesson that i have learned, i learned yesterday.

It's pointless to argue with people on an internet forum.:boing2:

before that it was that the human body is just a big bag of water and if you can get through the skin you can have whatever you want on the inside.

:)
