What are good non-traditional systems that have principles translatable to improvised blunt weapons in the environment, and that have elements for grappling?

Depending on what you consider non-traditional, I believe Bataireacht would fit this description.

Non-traditional--focuses on what's useful in modern applications, doesn't get into the song and dance of decorum and lineage.
