Check out this video of Doc Sonnon and the Iranian "House of Power", the ancient Persian martial art of Pahlavani.

While kind of interesting and having great music, this seems a bit less martial arts a bit more sonnon commercial. I must admit, I do't know alot about Pahlavani, but I did find this site, so I suppose the physical training still plays a very large role...

Varzesh-e Pahlavani, widely known as Varzesh-e Bastani by mistake for the past seventy years, was originally an academy of physical training and a nursery for warriors against foreign invaders similar in purpose to Korean, Japanese and Chinese martial arts.

Wish it had a bit more about the martial tradition... must say you have me interested now :)

how heavy are those clubs?
is that motion training to swing an overhanded weapon, like a sword?
seems interesting, though a bit repetitive

... they also reminded me of giant corndogs, but thats a pretty silly observation (but i made it anyways...)
