rules ruin history

modern rules of martial arts made so many restreictions that restrict the use of ancient techniques. to the point where they virtually dont exist. ive been checkin out A LOT martial arts history and found way more to it than i thought. it appears what we know is only the surface. people have to check very rare MA sites to find out the art in depth.

stupid rules. are there any ones out there dedicated to ancient techniqes without rules?

i would say that the only rules my association uses is during sparring. indeed there are certain guidelines and regulations, but these are in the best interest of the art and the school.

everythng else is very traditional with no techniques pushed aside. that is why i train there.

too many ridiculous rules i feel make up for a lack of knowledge.
