Dang ... those are some temperature swings
Thats the Ohio Valley for ya. I remember it was about 2-3 yrs ago and I was leaving for Florida, it was 98 all day the day before, in the 40's when I left, and was in the triple digits when I returned home. Its nuts, my cousins came up here one year for part of the Derby Festival and they were expecting mild temperature...we had an ice storm

It does that here, too - upper 70s one day, snowing the next with an overnight low in the single digits.... right now it's snowing lightly, but the snow advisory's been canceled. The news stations have been wigging out about the forecast, which drives me nuts; you would think people in Colorado would expect snow - okay, if we were expecting 10 or more inches, maybe - but they've been going nuts for a couple of days over a possible 3-6 inches. I'll grant you that the first 1 or 2 landed over night and during the morning rush hour... but still... it's Colorado, fer gossakes!

Hello Jeff ...

Kacey, I use to love my vacations, yearly migrations to Carbondale, where I use to get to experience those types of conditions. Always liked waking up early, walking outside, snow on the ground, seeing a herd of deer across the street ... wonderful stuff

There aren't very many deer in Metro Denver... other than that, I did get up early this morning, walk across fresh snow (okay, I was walking my dog - but he was having fun, he loves snow!). Of course, then I had to shovel and drive 30 mph up the freeway to work - so snow is pretty, all right, but I do wish it didn't screw up rush hour so badly!

LOL ... yeah, I know, my time in it was on vacation, not to have to live with it on a daily basis.
