Sai from Shapland Sensei

Has anyone out there ever purchased Sai from Shapland Sensei? If so, how was your experience?

No, but I recently purchased a pair from Peter Carbone, Hanshin. They are beautiful in both appearance and function, as well as very expensive. He learned the art of sai forging in Okinawa, and several 9th/10th dans there posses his work. He also hand crafts beautiful tonfa from a variety of quality woods. You may want to check him out, but I think he will be retiring very soon - not sure if he is still taking orders.
