Good Communication Between Student And Instructor

Its been said that its important to have good communication between a student and instructor. To have a good talking relationship between student and instructor. Well that can be a bit hard if you and your instructor are from different countries, for instance if your instructor is from Japan and you're from the USA.

I have been with my Korean GM since 1984. He spoke only a few English technical terms back then. But we both stayed with it and his English got (a little) better and I learned the heavy accent. It takes time.
