Are there any atarashi naginata dojos in detroit...or maybe just some naginata ryuha in detroit, althoh i highly doubt it because hardly anythings over here...

Naginata is very rare in the U.S. Hoping for a particular substyle is very optimistic!

Have you done a net search for one. You might have to travel very far for this type of training. There are not many outside of NYC or SoCal. Some people have resorted to trying out videos and books, but without alot of previous training you might not be successful. If you start looking for a different style let us know and maybe we can help out.
