Congratulations! It's always fun to see our kids excited and progressing. She looks very proud of her new belt, probably almost as proud as you are!

thats great. Nothing wrong with her outranking you. Infact it may be benificial to her to do so. It could give her a sense of pride and confidense to help teach her Mom when all her life, you have taught her. Whatever it takes.... keep her going. But of course, so would you!

Congrats to your daughter on her new promotion. Don't worry about her outranking you, you will always be her Sr.

Shelley, you just might have to find a reason to punish her and deny her from testing for a few cycles. :) j/k

The Mom Belt trumps your daughter's TKD rank. As long as you're putting the food on the table, a clean dobok on her back, and paying the bills, you outrank her.

Awesome and congratulations to both!!! You must to keep training and who knows, maybe mom and daughter can do BB examn together? this will the nicest thing you can do!!

BTW what can you tell me about the shin/instep cloth pads your daughter was wearing? are those good? I want to buy some of these I think they are confortable and nice on light contact.
