Team trials have changed. You get picked to go to the camp then the coaches pick the team. Search through some of the older threads. We beat that horse already. I don't like it. I think it creates a conflict of instrest.

There are no more Natl Team Trials. The National Team is now hand picked.

Here is a more important questions, IMO:

Who the heck is gonna pack up the family and go to Colorado Springs 2 times, just 1 month apart for 2 different events to try to make it onto the Jr Team?

And I would imagine if the ultimate goal is to be on the Jr Team in 2010, meaning you must at least turn 14 in 2010 since WTF requires you to fight at what ever age you will become in that calendar year. So let's say you turn 14 on Dec 31 2010 and are therefore eligiable for the 2010 Jr Team. That would mean you turn 13 on Dec 31 2009 which would mean you are 12 years old for the Dec 12-13 JWCO event which is step 1 for the 2010 Jr Team.

Vegas and Orlando work for us. We do about two major trips a year. I already have players singing the Mickey Mouse song. As for teams, I have no one at all the can afford multiple trips to COS for their training. It's one thing to go and compete but this back and forth crap is way out of our "money" league.
