Ok, this was on my FB feed (and don't ask me how...I do have a few people friended who I think are remnants of my excessive game playing days. They were nice, no reason to dump them...)

A young man got suspended from High school for making gay porn.

Apparently somebody at the school watched it and it caused an 'incident' of students bullying the adult actor.
(as usual, true to form, the school suspends not the trouble makes, but the receiving party, no pun intended)

The young man is of legal age, and porn isn't illegal in his home state.....

But apparently, somebody was watching the boy on boy extravaganza - and felt morally superior...

Oh goody. There is so much wrogn with the whole picture, I can't even begin to put my finger on it.

Oh, non of this would have left the school district I am sure if the suspension would have not also nixed the young man's graduation schedule....

Oh the humanity.

At first glance I thought that this was going to good old homophobia. Anyway, he is 18 years of age and a adult surely, how could they stop him. A weak argument against him imho.

Roller Girl smashed that guy in the face with her skates over this. Maybe they saw something like that coming. :)

If I understand correctly, one of the persons involved was not an adult? If so, and it was indeed pornographic, federal law makes the possession of any child porn an offense. And of course, consenting participants or not, by law, minors aren't deemed to be able to make affirmative decisions about sex acts. Non of that justifies bullying of either consenting participant however, no matter how it might seem understandable.

Not having seen the video, nor caring to, I can't comment on whether it was pornographic or not. But probably if it graphically depicted a sex act, it would be deemed pornographic by law.

well, the young man seemed to have been re-instated...

The article was pretty clear (not that that means they were correct - don't call me Smurfette, I am not holding my breath for accurate reporting) the young man was of legal age when he performed, not sure where the minor came in.

I guess I read something in to it that wasn't there, when I read high school.
