I searched for 'Top Ten ITF Student dobok' and it listed several child and adult sizes
The doboks with black trim are for black belts.
Does it have to be Top Ten as there are loads of people selling ITF student doboks?

Yeah. He wanted 100% polyester. I couldn't see a kids one that has that.

There's an old saying
'If you don't get want you like you'd better hope you like what you get' ;-)
Tell them they can have 100% polyester when they get their black belt.
Personally I think the polycotton suits are fine.
I remember when we used to have to buy 100% cotton Karate suits and sew the badges on by hand.
Some of those suits were so stiff they would stand up on their own ;-)

Dont settle for mediocre.
For some reason just that the black belts get a better gi. infuriates me.
Ok. I had a google hunt and there is nothing I can find. OP will probably need to get a custom made one.

I'm curious - I have always preferred cotton uniforms, and considered the poly-cotton blends a decent second choice. What is the appeal of 100% polyester?

I used to be a fan of cotton but nowadays I like the polycotton better.
Quick to dry and if you are careful they don't need ironing ;-)

I've never ironed a uniform in my life. We have a specific way we fold them, and it seems to squash wrinkles from washing. We are all used to the creases from the folding, though those are oddly not as bad as I'd expect from it being folded.

Just to be clear, there's no rule about the quality of the dobak. Just about the stripes it can have.
I suspect one reason uniforms for lower ranks tend to be lighter material and overall lower quality is simply that most students won't stick with it long enough for the quality to be an issue.
A large portion will quit at white or yellow belt after trying it briefly and deciding it's not for them.
Another significant portion will drop out in the mid- to upper-colored belt ranks, because they lose interest, move away, have conflicts with other activities, etc.
I'd guess maybe 5% of our students make it to 1st Dan.
The dobaks we sell to beginners are light weight and medium quality. But they only cost $20.
There's a traditional method of folding the dobak that prevents wrinkles. You'll have creases, but you have creases on brand new things too.
The WTF dobak is a pull over V-neck. The ITF dobak is a wrap design much like the Japanese Gi.
You can get a custom dobak from Moo Sool Sa USA. I've got several, and they're very good. Expect to spend about $100, which is pretty reasonable for custom work. A good dobak from Century MA will cost about the same.
