nice clip. Good to see more footage of how SGM Parker moved. And since they are moving at half speed, you can really see the detail of the sequences.

It's historical context is significant. However, Mr. Parker would look at the old footage of himself and cringe. A comparison to more recent footage of Mr. Parker will show he evolved greatly from those extremely primitive days to a level of unparalleled sophistication. He hated that footage, and it is one of the reasons much of that material was rarely found. It simply was never made available by him because, in his words, "it's awful."

This was and is not unusual. Mr. Parker used to say he could make a fortune on the film and video of some of the greats from the old days. "They would pay me to burn the film. They looked so bad in those days in comparison to how everyone has grown. What were sophisticated black belt moves in those days, white belts routinely do better today."

I say this to put things into context, and to remind the unknowledgeable to not pattern anything they do based on this footage.
