In another "self defense specialty" thread, people talk about situational awareness, de-escalation, .... In this thread, let's talk about the "door guarding skill". In other words, when a fight start, what's your bread and butter MA skill that you will use to end the fight ASAP?

This old man is my teacher's young brother. He also had undefeated tournament record (as my teacher had) in Chinese wrestling. His door guarding skill is to move behind his opponent, pick him up, and either smash in front of him, or behind of him.

Would you like to share your "door guarding skill"?

What is door guarding skill?

If you are a teacher, you tell your students, "After you have learned ... and ... from me, you can leave and find yourself another teacher. I will have no more valuable things to teach you".

When you go to a MA teacher, sometime

1. you want him to help you to build up a solid foundation (general knowledge).
2. you just wat to learn his "door guarding skill" (special skill).

Do you have any experience in 2 and like to share here?
