Too tired right now to watch it closely. What I saw on a first glance was that the attacks didn't seem all that committed and the attacker didn't seem to continue an attack past the initial movement. But I respect them for going after the training at all like that... It takes guts and a real willingness to accept a risk of injury in your training.

I thought it wasn't too bad Brian, he did seem to be 'chasing' techniques at the end iirc, probably getting tired mentally/ physically ? I'll need too watch it again though.

But IMHO it was far from 'pants' and a pretty decent effort! Much better than the usual rubbish we tend to see.

I'd also say he seems to be muscling in parts, and his distancing goes a bit awry at times. This is probably because of wanting the vid to "look good".

And his posture needs to be straighter. Too much bending over, probably why he needs the muscling. IMHO.

Better than most vids out there.

As for looking scripted...are these not similar to a couple of Gyokko Ryu kata? :)
