Black Belt Test

Orange Belt
Hey, everyone! It's been a while since my last post so I want to let everyone know that I test for my 1st Dan in two weeks!! (Dec 15th) I'm beyond excited and can't wait. Also tkd_jen is going to be there to watch over me and motivate me like always. This is my childhood dream and now that it's almost accomplished I want to do so much more! I love Tae Kwon Do and now, I live and breathe Tae Kwon Do! Woo Hoo!

Sounds awesome Jaz! Let us know how it all goes. And we also like pictures. :)

Just go out and do what you know to do and then post pics.

Best of skill, knowledge and luck to you on the test. I am sure you will do great.
BTW we want pics

Excellent! Just remember... 1.) get your usual amount of sleep the night before, 2.) hydrate, hydrate, hydrate and 3.) you already know the material and have the physical skills or your instructor wouldn't recommend you for Dan testing... do your thing and you'll be fine.

Good Training and Good Testing! You'll rock!

Thank you everyone and of course I will make sure to get some pics. I probably wont be able to get some of my physicall portion but there is a manditory demonstration that I have to do and those will be posted for sure!

Keep in mind that your instructor wouldn't let you test unless they thought you were ready for it. So just go out on the floor, have fun, show 'em what you got and do your best!

I won't say good luck, because luck didn't get you here! Dedication and perseverance did.

Just a few more days!
Bet the nerves are starting to set in!
Remember, you have prepared a long time for this day, you know your stuff, you'll do great!!

First of all, congratulations on your training thus far. You must have demonstrated your commitment to your instructor in order to even be allowed to test.

Good luck on your test-it is an important step on the journey!
