Howdy y'all

Well, I started out taking Tang Soo Do from roughly 1992-1996. Now I'm older and I have a young son whom I would like to introduce to the martial arts. I got lucky, and about the same time I was thinking this, my instructor decided to reopen his school. He's now calling it American Independent Karate instead of Tang Soo Do, but it's the same style I was learning those many years ago. I'm hoping that I can relearn everything I forgot, earn a black belt and help my son to have some exposure to martial arts.

I'm here to try to help remember all the things I have forgotten ... I'll be going to bug the guys in the different forums for the specific help I need ... thanks in advance

:wavey: Glad to have you with us!

I'm also one of those who started in a style, stopped for a long while, then returned to the same style to recall what is forgotten and learn. You are fortunate to be able to do this with the original instructor, so it'll will be a great journey!

Completing the circle.

All who wander are not lost.

Cool you found your way back to the martial arts.

Now when you learn these old moves, you will see them in a new light.
