I think when the video creators were using that term they were talking about the opposite of Kiai.

“Kiai” implies the active state of one’s mind,
“Kiai” is a condition of one’s mind in which one’s “ki” or mental energy is actively concentrated upon an object.
When you focus a spearhand through a pair of boards,
or crush a coconut with a hammerfist
, you are exploding Kiai... intent expressed with total commitment into a single act.
Whereas “aiki,” the passive state is about blending...or synchronization of bodies in motion.
And redirecting the intended action/expression of of an opponent through (biomechanics)
Catching a limb and using their expended energy to take control.
