You know after reading posts about the good old days of martial arts I just wanted to post a thank you to my first sensei from back in the days when Enter the Dragon and Kwai Chang Caine were new.

He taught me jujitsu, he taught me that fighting was something to take very seriously and gave me a great nick name too... 2 actually (one was Makiwara, the other later) and he did it all with a great sense of humor, and he was some how able to pass all this on to me, and over 30 years later it is still remembered and has a major effect on this old MAist.
