I wanted to share this with you firstly because one of our pro fighters and instructors is 2 Para and trained all the lads who joined from 1999 onwards and also because I'm so proud and in awe of these guys. The took a bashing in Afghanistan but got stuck in, didn't whinge and gave back more than they received. :asian:

"May I suggest that the time of testing is now done and that here, today, is the time for tears."

Quite so, Reverend Steele :sensei rei:.

Ooh Rah! True warriors, every one. Pass along the thanks of an old US Marine to them for me, Tez. :asian:

I will pass on all the good thoughts from here. On a slightly lighter note, tonight in Colchester is not for the faint hearted, the Paras are on the piss! Anyone who has ever drunk with squaddies will wince but raise a glass when you can for all our troops who died serving their countries.

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow, old Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning, We will remember them.
