Yes the days of real kickboxing, I rememer those days well. It was a thing of beauty and still is in some parts of the world. Every weekend some matches would take place and it was always fun to watch these skilled athlete use those combo's like it was nothing to it.

Yes he is an Aussie. He is 40 or close to it now. I wonder what he is doing now.

I recently discoverd 2 schools in my area that are claining to teach kick boxing and two other teacher Muay Thai kick boxing.

Personally I wish there was a good Sanshou school in my area.

Sanshou is great also. Cung Le has his Sanshou school here where I am. I will have to take my kids over to have them check it out.

Kick boxing is alive and well, kicking in Europe! The Netherlands has some tremendous shows and kick boxers. We still have kick boxing clubs and shows here, often we have K1 on MMA shows. It's still out there.

Yeah I know it is not dead but here in the US they really don't promote it much. Not sure why.
