Who are these folks? Are they real or another good old boys club? I see that they honored Jackie Chan, does he even have rank in a martial art?

They seem to give out alot of awards to folks. Personally, I've yet to see any real value other than a little PR and resume-fluffing associated with them.
The organization seems to be held in low esteme by those who study the Japanese arts due to their misuse of the 'Soke" concept.
