The animal style of Wing Chun is mostly based of the Crane and the snake styles.
But it actually has 5 animal styles that is wood tiger, earth leopard, metal snake, fire dragon and water crane.

Welcome to MT Erpexia.
Care to tell us more? Are you currently training in the style/system you mention?

Thank you soo much.
Yes im currently training the Crane and Snake Wing Chun style and thats the most used style of Wing Chun.
As you see in the movments you see them sliper around the arms, you see them using there arms stretched out as a crane, it also uses the crane kicks that stays under their chest, and this because as u see when u see a crane it lifts his/her not it does take its leg over a certain height .
These are just some few examples.

Crane Wing (Hok Bong), Eagle Wing (Yeng Bong), Dragon Palm are the only animal shapes I know of in HFY. Wing Chun is a purposeful departure from animal styles, it's Tien Yan Dei (Body/postural framework) is vastly different.

You can see that Bruce Lee has another form of Wing Chun and then others because he has advanced from the snake and crane style to the tiger style.
Okey lets see all Kung Fu comes from long long ago and the Yip Man bracnh states from all the way back to 1600s to 1700s. There a woman from the Yip Man studied how the Snake and the Crane were fighting and then she made a new style Kung Fu . Long Story Short
