“I mean I’m much older — 53 — basically a senior citizen, so what are the chances that I would dominate again?”
The chances were good. Competing in multiple divisions in 17 tournaments, Hefington finished first in all but one, and he came back to win that one later in the year. In all, he won 30 main events, 28 in a row. Among his victories were the Karate World Championship in Las Vegas, U.S. Nationals in Orange County, Shikara Ashi Te-Ryu Pro Title Belt in Perris, Open International Taekwondo Championships in Carson, the Disney Nationals, and the Long Beach Internationals Grand Championship.

I would but I've got a bone in my leg.......

Holy Molly! Colour me impressed at the drive and determination of that fellow.
