My former club used to be ITF (North Korean branch). It now states affiliation with EITF.

Does this mean any difference in practise?

You still on speaking terms with anyone in your old club? Ask them if anything in the curriculum or practices changed as a result. I'd be surprised if your former instructor wasn't open with the students about changes to rank/techniques/etc.
