Hi
I had brought up the subject of wrist/ankle weights in General MA, but I was curious on strictly WC opinion of this.
I bought some strap on wrist weights that weigh 1.5 lbs each
My Sifu says, if youre going to lift weights, dont lift heavy and low reps, but lift light with many reps.
Do you think it would help or hinder my progress in WC if I use these weights in my SLT practice/other hand drills? I have found that it requires substantially more focus to stay relaxed with a little bit of weight than with none at all. My theory is that with slow, controlled, relaxed movements, the weights will help me develop better internal/external strength.
