Used Black Belts

For what it is worth: I searched ebay-US for used "embroidered Karate belts" for last 90 days completed sales.. I found 4 belts that were embroidered black belts used were sold. All were less than $50. One was the Ninja belt I purchased. There were 8-10 old looking plain black belt sold, frequently seller would custom embroidery them for a fee. I found none in the over $100 category. Certainly a non-scientific survey.

Personally, it seems to me that purchasing someone else's earned black would have a use a decoration (me) less likely for wear. However, an old looking belt embroidered to your qualifications/style would have a higher likely hood be for wear.

Maybe there are more frauds out there than I think?

I also emailed both of the sellers of the expensive belts asking why they were so high. I did not receive a reply from either, so I sent a second email today.

Offering discount is utterly disrespectful to the former owner who put in much hard work, blood, sweat and tears with that belt…. Don’t buy it

I have sent the sellers a couple of emails asking why they are priced so high. No responses so far.

As best I can recall the two I purchased were are $30 each. These are priced way above my pay grade.
