Shelton,

You handle yourself well in the ring. Both you and your opponent looked pretty good, and do be honest, I had a hard time telling who won, though I will give you the nod for use of more challenging kicks.

I did not see anything that I would term as ownage. Maybe you did some impressive 540 kicks or thew chi balls or something while the camera person was getting shots of the ceiling. Since they panned off to some dude in the back corner, I never saw who the ref declared the winner (I presume it was you).

Nice match though, and kudos on your back hook kick.

The videos in your first post (Towminator 1) look quite good. Tell me, are you a pum grade? In the video that I quoted above, you and your opponent both appear to be wearing pum belts. In the towminator vids, you both look like you are wearing black belts.

Actually both those guys where Jr Black Belts.
in the video I am senior red.
i got my Jr black belt last weekend
That first match u saw score was 9-3
I was cracking jokes back in the holding area
instead of stretching so i i came into
the match kinda stiff.
I kinda calmed down all the jumping spinning hook kick
and tornado
stuff
looks good but a roundhouse beats it 90% the time

So King since you are a Jumior BB or a poom rank, that means you are under the age of 14 right? Since by the KKW standards anybody 15 and older are consider an adult and they wear a Dan rank belt.

That assumes that the paperwork has been processed. Realistically, until his GM processes the paperwork to convert his rank, he is still a pum. Judging by what I saw in the vids, I'm guessing 14 or 15.

Well actually since he was a Bodan half red half Black and he just stated he tested for his Junior BB two weeks ago, that would make him 14 or less. Sorry I am trying to understand why he is so arrogant when he is so young.

OK but making comments like that on the web seems to be that you are arrogant sorry. So how old and what wieght division are you in? Still would like to have the answer for this and are you going to either USAT or AAU Mational this year in Florida, either one will give you alot of compitition since you believe you have none.

What is the difference between a gifted athlete who competes in a martial sport and a practitioner who trains in a martial art (and may also compete)?

Did you learn this attitude in the dojang or watching pro athletes on television?

hmm the difference
In my opinion is i guess
The gifted athlete does it because there
good at it and interested in one element
enough to purse getting to the top.

The practitioner purses an all around knowledge of the marital art
and all elements of that make it up.
thru this makes his/her understanding of the elements
better than the gifted athlete.
which in turn can make him a better at sparring
and poomse than gifted athlete.

Then people like me who are in between
people who recognize there gift but strive to push themselves
each day past there limits.
A serious practitioner but not as focused on the other elements
as much as he should..
Training wise we are *nuts* the end

Dude, I am having one heck of a time decyphering what you are writing.

Maybe put a little of that English you got in school to good use?

FYI, many folks here are not from the US nor native English speakers.

Not to seem rude, but I didn't see anyone getting OWNED in these videos. I think my definition of OWNING is different than yours.
