I never got further into jazzfunk than Herbie Hancock and thank you for Chameleon - that was my absolute favourite Herbie period and fav album of his maybe except for Empyrean Isles. I do not know what happened to him once he reached the 1980s?? It all went awry. When it comes to Miles, I would always prefer Blue in Green and Generique and which is music I could dine on forever When it comes to keys, nobody could work them quite like Thelonious imo
